Today I’m super excited to share my very first GIVEAWAY!

YES, I’m screaming at you!! GIVE-A-WAYYYYYY!

I see all these blogs who have tons of giveaways and honestly, I wish I started them long ago, but KF is really growing lately so it’s time to take it to the next level.

The Good Bean has this awesome line of chickpeas full of different flavours, sizes and of course – crunchiness!

Can a girl get a hell yeah! I love chickpeas!

I was sent 5 different flavours; Sweet Cinnamon, Smoky Chili & Lime, Cracked Pepper, Sea Salt and Mesquite BBQ.

The Good Bean was also nice enough to send me two of each flavour so, I’m thinking, it’s time for you to try these chickpeas. They are really delicious. 

I have to be honest with you though, I haven’t opened the sea salt package….yet. 

I mean, I’m drowning in these chickpeas and obsessing over them. 

I’m adding them to my salads, pastas, and believe it or not, but I even popped a few on half a pizza, baked it and it tasted really good. (I used the smoky chili & lime chickpeas, with turkey pepperoni, red peppers, mozza cheese & a whole grain crust) YUM!

I really, really like the cracked pepper. Maybe more  like, obsessed over the cracked pepper chickpeas…..just look at them….

Man oh man, I’ve been in chickpea heaven munchin’ on these. They are in my purse, my car and my work desk.

I’ve kinda picked up this bad habit of snacking on mozzarella cheese with the chickpeas.

They also go really well with a light beer when you’re sitting outside because it’s too damn hot to be inside. ;)

These chickpeas are certified gluten free, soy free, nut free and are Non GMO verified. <<< Always a good thing! 

Each flavour varies in ingredients, but overall are pretty good.

I have kinda thrown my almonds in the cupboard…for now…

I mean, they are my true love, I couldn’t possibly be without them. ;)

They too can be topped on anything, added in any meal and have a super tasty crunch…

Enough now, I’m getting really hungry.

    I love chickpeas as a crunchy snack, and I’d also like to incorporate them into meals more as a salad ingredient (it’s wonderful when salad bars have them!), and also in main dishes such as curries.

    I would lightly crush them and sprinkle them on top of my salads for extra crunch or make up my own trail mix with nuts and dried fruits and veggies.

    These wouldn’t make it into any recipe. My husband will have them all eaten before that would happen.

    I would use them as toppings for casseroles or crush them up and use as filler for making meat loaf.

    I would most likely put them on salads, but I imagine I’ll eat them right out of the bag, too! They sound great.

    I would probably put them in salads, it they make it that far, I must confess, I would just eat them out of the bag and be completely satisfied!!

    Oddly enough, I like to incorporate them into salsa dips! I also like to eat them by the handful! (but seasoned a little!)

    I would use the savoury ones in salad and I would add the cinnamon ones with some raisins for my son as his snack.

    I am not creative. I am more of a crunch and munch type of person. I would put them in salads or just eat them by themselves.

    On their own or salad toppings. I wonder if they taste similar to a treat I used to eat called ceci tostadi.

    I would toss them in my salad, replace chips with my chick pea burgers I make. or just plain scarf them down at snack time LOL

    I would use them to top casseroles or crunch them up to use as breading for chicken, fish, pork, steak, veggies, etc.
