Last time I posted my glute & thigh workout – it kept my tush sore for 2 days –
& today’s challenge….is nothing different.
I actually did this workout last thursday & on saturday my inner thighs were aching with every step I took.
Word of advice: After this workout – EAT UP!
Keep your muscles fueled with good carbs & lots of protein to prevent muscle soreness so you don’t have to bitch all day.
Every muscle ache – in the end – is worth it.
Complete 20 alternating superman lunges while holding the medicine ball under your chest with both hands. Rest for 20 seconds and repeat until you have completed a total of 10 sets.
The Superman Lunge Explained:
Begin standing with medicine ball in hands. Bend down & place the medicine ball in front of your toes. Hold ball with both hands. Place your feet backwards so you are in a high plank position while keeping your back straight & abs tight. Now bring one leg at a time forwards, bending your knee into your armpit – or higher if you can. Place foot back & repeat on opposite leg.
This workout screams inner thighs.
I’ve done the superman lunge in various workouts before but I’ve never realized how much it really targets your inner thighs when used in a challenge style workout.
